- Insurance: We offer a basic liability coverage plan for your belongings during the move. If you wish to purchase additional coverage for higher value items, please inform us in advance so we can arrange for the appropriate insurance coverage.
- Claims: Any claims for damage must be submitted within 48 hours of the move. We will investigate the claim and determine if compensation is warranted.
5. Customer Responsibilities
- Access and Parking: The customer is responsible for providing safe access to both the origin and destination locations. This includes ensuring that there is appropriate parking for our trucks and that pathways and entrances are clear and free of obstacles.
- Packing: While we offer professional packing services, you are responsible for ensuring that any items packed by you are secure and fit for transport. Clarcona Movers is not responsible for items packed by the customer unless additional insurance is purchased.
- Fragile Items: For fragile items (such as glass, artwork, and antiques), please inform us ahead of time so we can take extra precautions. We may recommend additional packing or insurance for valuable or fragile items.
6. Delivery and Timing
- Delivery Schedule: We make every effort to adhere to the estimated delivery schedule provided at the time of booking. However, Clarcona Movers is not responsible for delays caused by factors outside our control, such as weather, traffic, or accidents.
- Delay in Delivery: In the event of any delay, we will make reasonable efforts to inform you promptly and update you on the new delivery schedule.
- Receiving the Move: The customer or an authorized representative must be present at the delivery location to accept the move. Failure to be available at the scheduled time may result in additional charges.
